Webinar: Carbon reduction target setting and sharing best practices

WWF-Hong Kong is encouraged by the commitments made at the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to less than 2 degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial temperatures. All countries were asked to put forward a target to reduce emissions in the period after 2020. Companies globally are also raising awareness on setting a carbon reduction target to ensure their transition to a sustainable economy. In line with these intentions, WWF is encouraging businesses to transition to the Net Zero Carbon Roadmap and hosting a webinar to encourage corporate to set carbon reduction targets.

- The process of establishing a short/long-term carbon reduction target

-Experience communicating your targets to stakeholders to help get everyone on board with your organization’s efforts

- Challenges encountered and good practices for achieving the target 

- Benefits/advantages of setting the reduction target
