Ecological effects

This production method will not create serious discharge to the environment and causes moderate habitat alteration. The escape risk is high, but the escape impact is low because the fry is from the wild. The risk of disease transfer to the surroundings is low and there is no chemical usage.


There is a lack of comprehensive environmental impact assessment. China is focusing on land and water use, habitat protection, chemical usage. The overall management is partly effective.
